[EN] N-Dure Debug Guide
This guide will help you test your N-Dure unit to avoid having to send it back.
Before starting with this guide, be sure to charge your device for 8 hours and if it doesn’t come online, throw it in the back of your car when you drive home as bad reception at the install location is the number one reason for units not coming live.
Step 1. Write down the serial number
Before doing anything, take a look at the back of your N-Dure unit and write down the serial number. You will need this later to check if your N-Dure is live, in your dashboard.

Be sure to write down the serial number correctly to avoid wasting your time.
Step 2. Find the N-Dure in your dashboard
Remember that serial number you wrote down in step 1? We’re gonna need that now.
Go to your dashboard at https://dashboard.route42.nl
Log in with your account
Go to the “Track” dashboard
On the top left - where you can search assets - enter the serial number or the name you gave the N-dure in Asset management
Can you not find the N-Dure? This means the N-Dure has never come alive before, go to step 3
Found the N-Dure with a recent “last seen”? Go to step 2
Step 2. Find the N-Dure in the debug portal
Remember that serial number you wrote down in step 1? We’re gonna need that now.
Go to the debug tool: https://datastudio.google.com/reporting/1ijFtg0Px-_MRWW-q8hXFBTV8xhyXlvWd/page/pfYg
Enter the N-Dure ID from step 1 in the field (red box in the image below)
Press enter
See if you have any recent messages under the “GPS last time” column.
Step 3. Waking up the N-Dure
We have looked at the data received by the dashboard in the previous steps.
First of all, apply power to the N-Dure by hooking it up to a 12 Volt power supply. The red wire to the positive lead on the power supply, and the black to the negative.
If you don’t see your N-Dure right away, there is no need to wait for the N-Dure to send its next signal as this could take up to 2 hours. To “awaken” the N-Dure unit you simply hold the white wire against the Power of the power supply for at least 30 consecutive seconds. The ORANGE LED will start blinking rapidly.
